Watershed Development Program:-

India is one of the major agriculture’s countries with more that 70% of the population depending on it. Indian agriculture is dependent on monsoon which is not uniform over the years. Nearly three fourth of the cultivable land in India is dependent on monsoon which is contributing nearly 42% of total production from the agriculture. The productivity is mainly depending on two natural resources Land and Water. Therefore, the conservation of these two natural resources is essential for the sustainability of rained agriculture. This could be do ensuing the watershed method. With aim to conserve water resources we have constructed lots of check from the support of government of Gujarat.
